Hey Julie - Hang in there! We're the same age, and fucked-up things happen to us too! It just goes in cycles - I promise! Remember what idyllic childhoods we had in 70's? Those memories are worth all the crap we have to deal with today. Please know that we are thinking about you and your Dad. Keep us posted and keep your chin up. You have friends out here pulling for you!

Hey Julie,
I'm very sorry that you've been inundated will grief, disappointments and problems lately. I sincerely wish that I could enhance your life as you've done for so many others through your thoughtful offerings via the web. I know it doesn't really help or mean much at this point, but I hope you are able to realize that touching us through your personal accounts of your charmed childhood during the 70's portrays a good-hearted and gracious person then and now. You know, the kind of person that your Mom and Dad are proud of.

So... try to step back and remember what you mean to your family and your many friends. Above all, take care of yourself, mentally and physically. You deserve it more than you know.

Easy for me to say, eh? : ) Best wishes for your Dad!
