We did it!

Wow. President Obama. Now I can come out of the closet here in the south. I dared not speak his name amongst my peers for fear of being ridiculed. Now, we can all move forward.

I was just on your website to get the Lucy Lemon Square recipe. Its my dads very favorite. I make them for him every fathers day… just the way he had them as a kid. I want to share the recipe with my fellow bloggers… hope you don’t mind that I use your picture of the recipe. If you do let me know and I will take it off!

    Thanks!

I was out from the get-go and, lemme tell you, I was seriously oppressed here in SC. These nice people tried to run me off the road, flipped me birds, and said unkind things to me. But I stood firm and was so thrilled to see Obama give his acceptance speech. I would have cut a flip, but I would have broken my spine in the process, so I cut that flip in my mind.

Love your site. I was born in 1967 and remember the 70’s very well and with great fondness. My favourite band has been ELO since forever. Anyway, reading your diary brought so much back to me and it often makes me wish I had a time machine. I’d go back in an instant, but I’d have to take the Internet with me. Ha!
