Click on your faves here to go to their official
sites. Choose from Captain and Tennille, Cher, Meatloaf or Donny Osmond and his family,
Bay City Rollers and more.
Bay City Rollers were big in the mid to late
'70s. Now, there is an MSN group reuniting pen pals from the '70s and '80s who were big
Rollers fans! To join the group, go to The Bay City
Rollers Pen Pal Reunion. What a great idea! Why doesn't someone with the DeFrancos or
Osmonds or Captain & Tennille do this?
The
Captain and Tennille (Daryl Dragon and his wife Toni Tennille) remain my favorite
musicians and, indeed, people EVER!! Not only are they the most talented musicians I've
ever known, they are truly GOOD people! I've gotten to know Daryl over the years since
meeting him in 1978 and I can tell you he's got a very kind heart. Pictured here is a
re-release of an Australian CD with lots of stuff on it you've not heard before. Click to
go to C&T's official site and get your own copy! I guarantee you'll love it!
Saw Cher in
concert (finally!) in August 2002 on her Farewell Tour! Wow! I'd waited 35 years for it,
and it was worth it. Cher has become an icon and I still admire her greatly.
Donny Osmond only gets
better as time goes by (Why is that so true for men -- they age gracefully!). Perhaps it's
his Church of Latter Day Saints background and the fact that he didn't even drink
caffeine, let alone do all the dumbass drugs Leif Garrett and other counterparts did in
the '70s. Donny's hotter than ever. Find the latest news about Donny, host of the
syndicated game show, "Pyramid," on his Web site at www.donny.com.
