FAMILY PORTRAIT '77 -- Here's a Fidler family portrait taken in our living room at 1122 E. Brookview Lane in 1977. In back from left is Bob, Dad and Mike. Me and Mom are in front. Whatever happened to short-sleeved sweatshirts?

HALLOWEEN 1976 -- My oldest brother, Bob, his wife, Sharolyn, and their son, Chad, as Casper, the Friendly Ghost. Photo taken in the living room at 1122 E. Brookview Lane. The chair at the right is the same one in the photo to the left of this one. You can barely see it under Bob, Dad and Mike.

BOB'S TRAILER PARK -- Me, Mom and Bob outside his trailer in Peoria, Illinois, in May 1979. In the foreground is Mom's 1966 gold-green Mustang. Dad traded it in for a Ford F-150, and Mom NEVER let him forget about it.

VISITING AT GRANDMA'S -- Mom, Me and Dad at Grandma Fidler's senior citizens' apartment in Peoria Heights. Grandma took the picture of us one day when we were visiting in the late 1970s. She made all the pillows behind our heads, and the couch on which we were sitting was brown with silver sparkly stuff in it. What was that type of material called? It was so scratchy!!

Mom and Dad and Chico the chihuahua on the swing in the back yard in 1977. Note that Dad has his Old Style beer with him (at least I think that's the brand), and Mom has her beloved Chico in her lap. All of our many chihuahuas met untimely deaths in the '70s.

Dad and the clean Granada -- Here's a picture I took in May 1979 of Dad in the driveway with our freshly cleaned 1976 Ford Granada. I was so disappointed when they went to one of these "compact" cars!
